When it comes to running a business a lot of people think that, it’s them verse the world. Everyone is competition and you need to do what it takes to get ahead no matter what.
This couldn’t be further from the truth, running a business is all about integrity.
It’s no secret that I don’t complete with other businesses. When it comes to running Russtek Media, I’m not one to undercut my competition or talk bad about them to get a client.
I’m here to help them! Being apart of Rachel Pedersen’s Social Media United, I am apart of a group of the best digital marketers in the world. Continually learning and growing with this group I have realized that it’s not about making money but about helping others. Sure, the money is great, and we all need to pay the bills but it’s so much more than that.
That’s why when promoting our Open Networking Event and BlackBerry Meetup I’m hosting, that happens the night that this blog will be posted. I didn’t care when it was being shot down by others and event posts were being deleted.
No matter what, when you’re in business always do the right thing and look out for others. I will no matter what go out of my way to help others and promote their work or business. That’s just who I am and how I was raised.
As I have mentioned, there is a ton of work out there no matter what industry you’re in, you just have to put in the work and make it happen.
